People who make it all the way up the stairs will receive a "Noppon Official Stair Climber Certificate" as a present!
At Tokyo Tower the "climbing stairs" to the Main Observatory are ordinarily open only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Tokyo Tower's "climbing stairs" continue from the roof of FootTown to the Main Observatory (150m)and have approximately 600 steps. With this special course you can climb Tokyo Tower while taking in the view and feeling the wind blow around you. You might be surprised when you hear "600 steps,"but even kindergarten age children can climb to the top in about 15 minutes. Out-of-shape fathers, mothers on diets, childrens groups like Boyscout and Girlscout troops--why not take the challenge of this rare starcase course?
While you climb the stairs, quiz questions from the Noppons and calorie burning charts are posted, so you should definitely be able to enjoy the climb(?)! What's more, during the Milky Way Illumination lighting, the stairs are decorated with blue lights and you can climb while enjoying the night view and lights.
Also, for customers who use the staircase course, only those who climbed the stairs can get a not-for-sale "Noppon Official Stair Climber Certificate" present!
The "Staircase Course" is healthy and romantic at night. Please give it a try!
