When the subject of moon viewing is brought up, the "Harvest Moon" comes to mind, and this year, that falls on September 13th (Friday).
How about taking some time to gaze at the moon sometimes?
On this day at Tokyo Tower, we have prepared a special event.
Please enjoy it along with gazing at the harvest moon from the observatory deck.
The 600-step outer staircase that leads up to the main deck, which is usually open to public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, will be specially opened to public till night, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., just for this day!
Visitors can enjoy an atmosphere different from that of daytime. "Dango" and "Japanese pampas grass," which are well associated with viewing the moon, will be positioned halfway up the staircase to heighten the moon-viewing atmosphere.
